Privacy Policy

The Glasox website and services fully respect your privacy. This policy explains how we obtain, process, store and protect your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 18/2018 Z. z. on the protection of personal data.

2. What personal data we process and for what purposes

We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide services within the Glasox project:

Registration and user account management

Data: first name, last name, email address, password (encrypted), phone number, company name.

Legal basis: performance of a contract / steps prior to entering into a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Order processing, invoicing and delivery of services/goods

Data: contact details, billing and delivery details (address, company ID, tax ID, VAT ID), order and transaction history.

Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Customer support and communication

Data: name, email, phone number and the message content provided in contact forms or in direct email communication.

Legal basis: legitimate interest in handling your requests and questions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Marketing communication and newsletter

Data: email address, name.

Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), or legitimate interest in approaching existing customers with offers of our own similar services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies and technical operation of the website

Data: IP address, browser type, behaviour on the website, cookies.

Legal basis: consent given via the cookie bar (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), except for strictly necessary technical cookies required for the website to function.

3. Data retention period

We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was obtained:

  • Accounting and tax documents: retained for 10 years in accordance with applicable Slovak legislation.
  • User account: retained for the duration of your registration, or until the account is cancelled.
  • Marketing purposes: retained until you withdraw your consent or object to direct marketing.
  • Communication and enquiries: retained for the time necessary to handle the enquiry, at most 2 years from the end of communication.

4. Recipients of personal data (intermediaries)

We protect your personal data and do not provide it to third parties for commercial purposes. Access to it is granted only to vetted contractual intermediaries:

  • Providers of web hosting and cloud services.
  • Providers of accounting, software and CRM systems.
  • Providers of delivery and logistics services (when shipping consignments).
  • Providers of analytics and marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics — solely on the basis of your consent).
  • Public authorities, where a specific law imposes this obligation on us.

We do not transfer personal data to third countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) unless it is adequately safeguarded in accordance with the GDPR (e.g. through the EU Standard Contractual Clauses).

5. Your rights under the GDPR

As a data subject, you have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data:

  • Right of access: the right to obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal data, and access to that data.
  • Right to rectification: the right to have inaccurate personal data corrected or incomplete data completed.
  • Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”): the right to request the deletion of personal data where it is no longer necessary for the stated purposes or where you withdraw your consent.
  • Right to restriction of processing: the right to request a temporary restriction on the processing of your data.
  • Right to data portability: the right to receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transfer it to another controller.
  • Right to object: the right to object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest, or to direct marketing.
  • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it free of charge at any time by emailing info@glasox.com.

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the Personal Data Protection Office of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, web: dataprotection.gov.sk.

6. Data security

zoskla.sk, s.r.o. has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures (SSL encryption of the website, access rights management, secure backups) to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, damage or misuse.

7. Final provisions

This Privacy Policy takes effect on 1 January 2026. The controller reserves the right to change it in the event of changes in legislation or in the functionality of the Glasox portal. The current version will always be available on this website.
